How do I pay?
Membership is $35 a month, paid through PayPal. You can use your PayPal balance or a card linked to PayPal.
Who can join?
Virtual Nurse is open only to nursing students, RNs, LVN/LPNs and nurse practitioners. Students register with their nursing school. RNs, LVN/LPNs and NPs register with their license, and a moderator confirms it on Nursys, the boards of nursing's official license database, before they can post or appear in nurse profiles.
Is it for RNs or LPNs?
Both. Switch between NCLEX-RN and NCLEX-PN in practice, and filter the study notes by exam. Nurse practitioner board-prep notes are included too.
Does this replace an NCLEX review course?
It works alongside one or on its own. Questions follow the Client Needs categories of the NCLEX test plan, and every answer comes with a rationale so you learn the reasoning, not just the answer.
What's the NCLEX format now?
Both exams use computerized adaptive testing with 85 to 150 items and up to 5 hours, including Next Generation NCLEX case studies. Always check the latest details with NCSBN and your state board.
Can employers post jobs?
Yes. Members can post remote, hybrid and local openings for RNs, LPNs and nurse practitioners on the job board.
Can I cancel?
Yes. Each payment covers one month. If you don't pay for the next month, your membership simply ends.
